Ingredients
- 500 g fresh green beans
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (grated)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup Pure Verda extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
Preparation

Trim and string the beans, then halve them.

Sauté the onion in the olive oil until softened.

Add the grated tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the beans, sugar and salt; pour in a little hot water.

Cook covered over low heat for 30-35 minutes.

Let cool; serve at room temperature.

- Don't hold back on drizzling extra virgin olive oil over the top.
