Ingredients

  • 1 can cooked chickpeas (or 2 cups cooked)
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp Pure Verda extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt, cumin, paprika (to serve)

Preparation

    Add the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and salt to a food processor.

    Blend with 3 tbsp olive oil and a little water if needed until smooth.

    Transfer to a bowl and hollow the center with a spoon.

    Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with cumin and paprika.

    Serve with pita or fresh vegetables.

Tips

  • For an even creamier result, peel the chickpea skins.
